The Poona Community Progress Association, aided by our many community volunteers, maintains a Community Hall and Precinct. This is the hub of the town and is located across the road from the caravan park.

The Precinct with its playgrounds, tennis/multi court (equipment available at a small hire cost) and a putting green has something to interest everyone. The facilities are freely available to residents and visitors alike. There are regular Exercise classes, Tai Chi, Tennis, Yoga, Line Dancing and Craft at the Hall.

The kitchen and bar are open from 5 pm on most Friday evenings so enjoy a cold ale or a nice wine along with some great home style cooking, all provided by our wonderful community volunteers.

Visitors are made most welcome to any activities at the Poona Community Hall and Precinct.

The PCPA Committee comprises-

  • Mr Kevin Crane (President)
  • Mr Steve Baxter (Vice President)
  • Mr Mike Hart (Secretary)
  • Mrs Dianne Pryor(Treasurer)
